The Mid Mo Smoke Show 3-10-18 The Daughter and The Fireman

This week we receive a phone call from Lyle's daughter, and get some fire prevention advice from a local firefighter. And as a bonus, these two can tell us more about what its like to cook a competition with Lyle and the Ring of Fire.

Recipe: Stuffed Smoked Pork Chops

This can be done on medium hot grill

You will need:

  • 2-1 inch thick bone in pork chops

  • 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 4 green onions chopped finely, use all of the onions

  • 3 medium sized mushrooms chopped finely

  • Favorite rub

To start cut a pocket into the pork chops and set aside

Chop onions and mushrooms and add to 3/4 cup of cheese and mix well

Take your pork chops and stuff the mixture into the pocket that you cut leaving enough room so the pocket can close around stuffing

Sprinkle with rub and place in the smoker at 225 degrees

Cook until internal meat temp is 175 degrees
